Every bodies recover time varies a lot. My shoulder surgery typically should have taken 6 months to start putting your arm over your head. I started doing it in 4 days. I returned to work in 2 weeks. My theory is push it, stay ahead of the scar tissue. That is what slows your progress.

down to about two weeks before this thing gets replaced . Been doing my very best to make sure I got every last step from the old one . Needed to cut fire wood so my son came down and helped with that, still hurts like &^%$ but I have found that some Advil and laying down helps a lot.
if all else fails Advil and about two adult beverages is even better but I don't recommend getting out of site of the house .

Well by this time tomorrow I'll be slobbering on myself and will not know my name . I go on the table at 0915.

Got my head around the rehab and know that I just got to push though the pain .

My son ( fine boy that he is) has been spreading the rumor among some of my ex coworkers at another city ( he still works there)that I finally had to go into rehab for my drug and alcohol problems. When people give him the "LOOK" he tells them that the problem is I ran out of alcohol and decided to get a knee surgery so I could try drugs.

After I get out I guess I'll be hanging out here for a while.

The surgery went well ,biggest problem so far is that for at least the last ten years I have not straightened that knee . Now have to overcome that plus the hurt of the knee. Another thing I have come to realize is that the old knee would hurt all day while was standing on it but at night would ease up after I got the weight off it. The new knee hurts all the time day and night but at a lesser intensity just enough to drive me nuts.

Keep doing that PT. That is the only way it will get better and also get your range of motion back. The pain will go away in time. Stick with it.

"The pain will go away in time"

Or you'll just get use to it.
