sat in a 2014 today, did not drive it...according to posts, i guess i should have drove it to feel the dead pedal.

what percent of 2014's have the non-responsive gas pedal feel?

I'd say all of them. I have 5 on the job and they all drive the same. Probably a plus for towing but it takes a second to get off the line then it spools up great. The real annoying part is if you chop the throttle then stomp it, it takes a couple seconds to pretty much respond at all.
That said it's pretty sweet compared to my 07 in all respects other than the 07 is a beast and the '14 isnt$25k better for my purposes.
