Nope, My 2010 Laramie Auto has it....it might be run like an ambulance, but that's about it.

Turn on the cruise, bump the stick to set, and it will go to 1100RPM....and you can raise it up to 1500RPM. I use it all the time for jump starting tractors.

The dealers use to be able to program that option in.

Back on subject, I know mine is an 09' but heres the dope. 268,000 miles, all stock, maintenance done on time or just a little late. Just had my second DPF full and go into limp mode. Made it 600 miles home at reduced power. Mileage kicks *** empty on reduced power. Cleaned the EGR today, removing the DPF and Nox filter for cleaning tonight. First time for either. I will run this truck until the 13's come out with SCR. Still a good towing truck.

dont mean to go off subject my truck has 234k on it now. The dealer wanted to clean the egr, turbo, and ccv fliter at 67k. I declined because it was $1000. Now ive done the ccv and its about time again but how or what do you clean on the egr and how do you clean the dpf? My tail pipe soots up like a 5.9 now and some guys claim ive burned thru the dpf because the exhaust pipe should be clean.

There is a stickie on the 3rd gen board on how to clean the egr. The dpf is an experiment, remove and flush with water from back to front. Once the water comes out clear, duct tape a 200mph leaf blower in the same direction and let it run till no more soot or ash comes out. Will re-install tomorrow and let you know how it works. Amazing how much crap came out.

Just a little update, it is all back together. Exhaust is flowing much better and lost the potato in the tailpipe sound. Just need to figure out how to get rid of the Reduced Power Mode.

Small update, 328,000 miles now. DPF is (has been) toast for long time. Can't tell if it still regens, mileage has been reasonable for as cold as it has been. Smokes like a 5.9 and the power is still there. Had to replace the egr as the spring was too weak to keep it closed.

Just curious, but why didn't you just delete when the warranty was up? Seems like nothing to lose and everything to gain (unless they check for emissions in MO).
