Lift Pump Seach Driven Me crazy

I have Harassed all the local Case IH ,New Holland, And Cummins Dealers
Around here I can only Find One lift pump and they want 330$ for Just the pump 60$ for the New Fuel pipe and 50$ or so bucks for the spacer and gaskets
I kinda didnt hear that after they told me the price of the LP I know there was a sticky on putting a Second Gen LP on and putting a regulator on it (cant find it )

Anyways I am not familiar with the Electric Lift pumps . Its starting to look like I may have to. If I have to spend the money, I may as well put something on with the filtration system too........ So my question Is there a brand that can be turned Down to our PSI lvls or will it mess up the Pump .

i'd look at airdog... i dont think theres a downside to running an airdog besides its electric and it doesnt fit my attempt to be mainly mechanical. they have lots of different versions for almost any application.

Or make your own. I made mine for around $250.

Flea-bay got me a Walbro 392, Mallory 4307M regulator, and the various lines and fittings from Ace Hardware.

Which is great for the price... The main reason to go with the more expensive airdog is to have the warranty also.

So if I put the Air dog system in I have to wire it (obviously) And i would have to drop the tank and put a return line to the tank to wouldn't I ?

Look on 4bt swaps for tennesee diesel conversions. I got my low pressure piston lift pump from him for around 250 ish I think with the fuel line, bolts, and spacer. I want to stay as mechanical as possible.

I kinda do too
I was Pmed a Company to check tomorrow . I Seem to have horrible luck trying to get Anything across the US Canadian border that's kinda why i want to stay on this side of the line . Usually by the time i pay all the taxes on anything US i end up paying more than I can get it for here

But i may have to I just got a call that there are some Case dealers in the USA that still have the low pressure LP listed too

Get a 2nd gen lift pump and a regulator. Solves the problem of staying mechanical and gives you the adjustable regulator for more power.

I think you, or maybe it was someone else, asked about the cost of the lift pumps up hear in Canada. I mentioned I got mine through Oregon fuel injection (O-F-I.com). It wasn't on their website so I had to call and talk to someone. It was a delphi pump I believe, and then the spacer and 2 gaskets for $84 US, plus shipping. You could have that at your Calgary home for probably around $125-$150 CND.

I just priced one yesterday, and the pump was a little over $200, the fuel line was about $44, and spacer was about $16, and the gaskets were around $3. They changed the part numbers on a few things from the ones that were in the sticky.

hey-Hey!!!,
I've had it with the idea of a piston LP and its associated additional hardware. Going to mount a Holley Black. Wiring it will be most simple; solder in a Y to the IP 'ON' connection with silver plated Cu and TFE insulation to drive a relay and fuse in direct to the battery. Got a Blue Top Optima so there are additional post connections for both hot and ground ring terminals. I'll make a cover out of 1/8" plate for the fuel pump hole and hook up rubber fuel line to the OE steel line that went to between the filter and pump.

Between the Blue and Black the less expensive Blue is said to deliver 'about' 14 psi max and the Black limited to 14 on the nose. Black is only slightly more than the Blue at Jegs and Summit.
cheers,
Douglas
