Fellas,
Your thoughts are appreciated, a big help to me. Keep the info coming.

I am not super loyal to HTT, but would like to work with them again. If they don't have something that works for me, then I will go somewhere else.

Good luck if you want a 13ss housing turbo from HTT. I had a 62-65-13 on order since Dec. 23 and ended up cancelling my order last week and went with a Garrett stage 2. HTT had been waiting on machining of the 13 exhaust housing and as of last week nothing yet. If you go with the 13 housing hopefully they will have them done by the time you are ready for one. I was really worried when it took 6-7 weeks and still didn't have my turbo. What would their warranty work be like if I needed it? Would I have to wait 2 months to be repaired or fixed, I can't wait that long.

Ok, here's the plan...

I'm gonna buy a beater. Get some $ together for another Turbo and the piping, (maybe an up grade on the sticks, I don't know), and then something bad is going to happen. Sell my turbo so I can get another one. We'll see.

I'm going to have to deploy first, probably. At least I have this thread to reference. I was originally thinking that I could get another turbo and just change my inducer wheel, but it does not look like that is going to happen.

Crappy to hear about htt...

muyst be a recent thing, no trouble getting my 64 71 13 from them when I did my buildup last spring....... I bet you would do better with the 13 housing instead of 16, and goin with the 480 or 475......

So you need air for that amount. The idea with twins is to have the smallest turbo you can get away with on top so you get best possible spool, yet you are able to process the air from the bottom. This allows best drivability and is most versatile. Best example of this is the BD r700 twins that use a small super B (57mm comp inducer) on the top yet it supports 700hp. Erick Brown did 1100+ on #2 with a 62 on top. (but a huge primary that also is air/water intercooled before the secondary). Point is, you don't need a huge turbo on top to do the job. Right now, you are much larger than you need on top and much laggier than you really have to be. In line with the desire to stay with HTT, your best bet is a 62/65/13ss on top. Fast spool (much faster than you are used to now) but with the advantage of the large wastegates that are perfect for twins. You don't need the larger 71mm exhaust turbine as you wastegate past that anyway to drive the bottom turbo; save your spool time! Put a s475 underneath that and you are living large. If you wish to grow a little in the future, it can be an s480... a little laggier but will set you up with enough twins to put you into 800's if you want.

Enjoy!
I agree with this advice!

I just put compounds on my truck a few days ago Mark, and the perfomance is unbelievable I just utilized the stocker as the secondary, but I couldn't be happier. The spool up is instant (and that's no exageration), and EGT's are at least 300* cooler across the board. It is an absolute joy to drive now. It feels like I gained 100hp! I know that I didn't but it sure feels like it. The huge SOTP gain I'm feeling is because I start making power way sooner then I did with my single. I think something like a 62/65/14 over an s474 would be great for towing, great daily driver, and would put a huge smile on your face.
