overhead console

i have an 01 without the overhead console can i just get one from another truck gas or diesel will mine have the harness ready to plug in

If it didn't have one originally, then it is likely the base model. I believe they had only 1 harness to the CTM. You would need the 2 harness and programming to add the overhead.

If you want the electronics of the console, get a scan gauge 2. It will do everything the electronics in the console will do and more.
