If your driveway is sealed, dont do the above mentioned stuff. Purple Power scrubbed real good will help but it wont look the same for weeks, maybe even months. I did it once and do everything in my power to keep gas, diesel and oil off the asphalt.
You better call FTD and get some flowers delivered.

Just a little water and powdered Tide is also a very good grease/oil cutter. Use a stiff scrub brush with a strong solution and all should be good to go. You might also try a little Dawn (the grease cutter) dish soap if you have any available.

Like I said, if you have a CONCRETE DRIVE.........gas is the easiest and fastest sloution. No mess to scrub up or blow off or wash off. The sun just evaporates it right away. Just the gas smell to deal with for a little while until it is gone.

I wouldn't use gas, it will break it down and drive it into the concrete, and how do you pull it out? A good degreaser like Simple Green would work, and you can vacuum the residue up with a shop vac without causing an explosion from gas fumes.
First I would absorb as much as you can with rags or kitty litter / oil dry. Then scrub with Simple Green, or Dawn dishwashing soap, rinse well and either vacuum up the water or if you use enough Dawn or Simple Green, wash it off. I don't think the EPA will be hounding you like they do with me!
