If the frame is good then go for it.. only if the price is ok. When I bought my truck the frame was rotted towards the rear. Wasn't bad at all.. nice weld and it's good to go.

Can I ask why it's $2500 for a wrecked truck ?

I paid that much for a running, street legal, rusted old truck that I got in and turned the key . No severe damage, nor frame twisted from a roll over.

Might want to see if the truck's frame is tweaked before you go plopping down 2500 smackers on it.

2500 is cheap you could Double your money just on drive train Alone as for rollover's 99% of time the body get's Destroyed but frame will be fine you could also find a crewcab and swap the stuff over also .I'de jump all over it for that price .

I dunno, the frame under my 90 Ramcharger sure doesn't look to be very sturdy with the gasser in there, add a 6BT and roll it over............

I paid $2600 to have a running truck with a rotting bed and cab towed to the shop..only 4x4 i could find that needed a trans so I may have overpaid a bit but you can still get your moneys worth out of the powertrain alone plus the scrap.

I paid 3000 for my 92 w250 auto running somewhat drivable lol..., needed front brakes, front d shaft, rear carrier bearing, wheel studs, brake lines, fuel lines, fan, and needs a cab as this ones reaaalllyyy rotten, and the front spring hangers have been welded on along with steering gear box (which is common) and i still think i'm in the good once i put the drive train in the 77 i'll be good to go.

I have never looked at the early truck frames, are they only about 1" on the channel legs up front? I was frankly shocked at how thin and spindly the front part of my Ramcharger frame was, no wonder they made a steering box brace for them.
