new turbo... downpipe question

i have a 2004 and want to get a new turbo they say i need a different downpipe but i already have a 4 inch aftermarket exhaust(magnaflow) will i still need a different downpipe?

It depends....some aftermarket units will accept what you have....mine had to have a 3rd gen HX-40 style downpipe.
