Greetings.

Happy Easter to all.

Raining with a winter storm warning issued with a few probabilities. Freezing rain in the mix.

The doc that fixed my arm had his nurse call me yesterday to see how I was doing. So far so good. Follow up with him on Weds. Lots of rehab ahead.

Mornin' all! Nice day out today. Only dropped to 31* last night and it's already climbing into the 40s this morning! Gonna have a good weekend.

Only hitch is I have a dog with a bum leg..... came home last night after a few errands and she was limping good. Won't put any weight on her hind leg. None at all. Weird thing is she isn't tender anywhere. Not a wimper out of her at all. And I was really aggressive trying to locate a tender spot. Nothing. Not sure where to go with this one. Vet bill isn't in the budget right now esspecially since she doesn't appear to be in any real pain but she sure aint walking right. ....

Something just aint right here...

Afternoon all. Kinda cool and breezy here. Got a call from my Rig today. The senior company man wants me to come work for him directly. It will be a cut in pay, but long term, would be a much better situation. I think. Decisions, decisions, decisions... This one is tough.

Got a call from a land man too, looks like there gonna start drilling in my area (finally). There is a pretty good sized reservoir down there with that pretty green sweet crude, just like the Bakken in ND, just not as big. Wont be a big deal for us, we don't have that much ground, but will be good for the area. All the neighbors are asking me what to do. As always, a bird in the hand...

Gotta go check the bulk fuel tanks. I think some water got in over the winter...

Scotty, old friend and buddy-- - I can't express my deepest concern and sorrow for your condition in the weather - - that is horrible. ...........

Jeff, glad you've got opportunities presented. I think if yall take your time on the decision, think over it, pray over it, you'll have your answer and yall will do fine.

Scotty, that sounds completely opposite of what we got going on over here. Sitting outside in mild clear sunny gorgeous weather, glass of wine, husband, dog, just chillin' on Good Friday

A flexion injury could indicate the cruciate ligament, pretty common in dogs. It doesn't cure itself and becomes more painful as time goes on.

I'm hoping you're wrong there. Gonna give her another day as she doesn't appear to be in any pain but I suspect we'll be off to the vet tomorrow if she doesn't show any improvement. .....

I hope I'm wrong too. I had a lab with that problem and it's not fun. Curable, but not fun. Or cheap. Keep us posted please.

I'd go for the 300 wby and the ground hog over a store bought steak. Anything the wife and I have steak I get mine from the local butcher, he only sells beef thats grass fed and no hormones or added crud.

It's the same process we use to jump start Chaikwa when he's being lazy.

Steroid or Lead...I'd take a chance with the lead.

Had a nice day off, went to a friends shop and helped him work on an old Minneapolis Moline 22-44. I like going over there and helping him work on the old iron. He's got a business restoring and repairing antique tractors and steam engines.

Here's a video of a Flour City they did, from what my friend told me it's one of only a few in the world. My friend is the one operating the tractor. I got to see the Flour City up close and it's a big tractor

Hope your pup gets better. Still waiting on word from the lab-bratory (not -brador) on our pup's lump.

Sure hope it's nothing serious but it's not uncommon for an acl injury. Praying it comes out good.

Evening all. DW came down to pick me up for the weekend, good to see her after 2 weeks.
