Refering to my previous post" Wierd electrons". After an exhaustive search for the front parking lts and the dash lts coming on with the brake lts. I found something I couldn't believe. The left rear bulb had some kind of a short in it. Both filiments were good and would burn, but sometimes short together causing the problem. I Narrowed it down to that corner and figured it was in the socket. I opened it up and found nothing wrong ???. So out of curiosity I checked continuity between the two contacts on the bulb and got a reading . I've never seen anything like that before. Thanks for the help.

 

Usually what happens is one filament breaks and contacts the other filament. This can certainly give that indication depending on which end of the broken filament is still attached.<br>Terry

 

Glad you were able to track it down. I had a similar problem once and it took me ages to narrow it down including replacing the socket.<br>Terry

 

Thanks Crewcab, But the filements weren't broke that's what is strange.
