Question speedo jumpy/od. and cruise not working

this just started,I had a tranny line leaking got it fixed then the speedo started jumping od going in and out and no cruise. Do you think its the v.s.s.? Or maybe the wires lost connection because of the tranny leak? or what

I would unplug the VSS and clean both sides of the connector with electrical cleaner and then put some dielectric grease on it. Give that a try it fixed mine.
