Thinking about ordering the big hoss bundle from banks with the power pda (when pda becomes available in Feb.) This is for my 05. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. This rig is used mostly for towing a 20 foot toy hauler with a couple 4-wheelers or snowmobiles in it or towing a flatbed with 5or 6 ton of hay.

 

i think the whole kit is a waste of money...if you are happy with about 150 hp at the crank then all you need is the 6 gun, intake and exhaust. thats about all the tranny can handle anyway. if you are going to bullit proof your tranny then there are much beter routes to go to get the most out of your cummins.

 

IMO I would get an afe stage 2, cut of the muffler, and get a good reputible chip like quad or edge if all you are doing is towin and normal drivin/playin. If you would like to build your tranny and race and get a new turbo then get the tst. I think basically the only thing I would like to have from the big hoss bundle is the intercooler. But this is strictly an opinion and I am sure people more knowledgeable than myself will chime and lead you on the right path.

 

Banks have great products but they also have great price tags. If you do about a week of research you will see there are better products out there for a little less on your wallet, but if you dont mind spending money and want a all in 1 product then i would go with banks
