Thumbs up Panasonic

Panasonic invented the lithium technology and if you go look at one you cant beat their toughness, chuck pressure, and believe me when you put in those slippery bits going through dense material. Also they are compact for getting in to tight places like screwing kitchen cabinets together.

I agree pick up the tool feel it and look at how and what it is made with, we at work (6 of us ) use dewalt (cordless) drills-14V replaced twice 4 years old, 18v 1 year starting to act up chuck seizes (pull trigger makes weird sound but wont turn) sometimes and grinder-weak and eats batteries for breakfast but we have too many batteries i would never buy again but got sucked in by all their cordless tools, milwaukee 12v drill 12 years replaced because someone stole it and replaced with 18v combo 3 years nicad but always works and hatchet saw is most fav tool it fits anywhere and a reg sawzall 13 years and nothing cuts better, craftsman reciprocating saw 3 years before it broke never replaced, walter 1/2"-corded 15 years still works as good today as it did when we purchased it, skill corded saw that piece of junk just wont die, makita corded impact 18 years and still works, so if you want it to last buy a corded product, if you want it to last with a battery buy a MILWAUKEE that's why they feel that way. and look dewalt made in china "must have lots of lead in there too" cause everything from china has lead starting to think its their main export
