Sometimes the twins take a little tuning to make them operate just right. I have to agree with the other posts about going with a reputable company that will assist you after the sale.

That is what I did with tuners. I thought $685 was too much for a tuner. So first I had a Superchips, then a Diablo, then finally ended up getting a Smarty. I bought them each for $400, sold them each for $250. So I got back $500 with $300 out to buying stuff that did not satisfy me. Then I got a Smarty which I really like. I would have been better off & money ahead just getting a Smarty the first day.

That's how it works for alot of us, see something that LOOKS appealing, but is mainly rubbish. Alot of times the companies that don't have the best looking packages have better support, more into the programming, and more updates, etc. I don't know why this is, but I'd rather go with a company that will back up their products, not send you on your way asking even more questions...

HTT had a lawsuit against them for using their name to advertise their turbo's. That is how I know.

I was at the RV show today in Sandy and "Diesel Power Source" had a couple guys there with their twins set up on display. They are located in Salt Lake / West Jordan area. Just eyeballing the setup it looked ok. One guy there couldn't answer a single question I had. He kept having to turn around and ask someone else. They are claiming that specific setup to be bolt on and capable of 350 to 850 hp! I'm not gonna be the test rat but they "looked" legit. ??

Dang-it!

I saw the post, flipped back to read the string and now the post is gone before I got to read it!

Would have been nice to hear what they had to say. It was long, it couldn't have all been an ad, but rather a reply to the things said about his products here...

Oh, well. Not that I'd buy the product anyway, but there's two sides to every story.

Yeah, he had a reasonable explanation. I can understand his frustration.

Well the admins do what they gotta do... can't blame them for that, but I would have like to seen that rebuttal to stay and let us make up our own minds and opinions.

May I ask why DieselPwrSource's second post was removed? It was clearly not an advertisement. And then to ban him?

Why would you BAN him he was just telling his side of the side of the story. I thought that is what this forum is for. It would have been nice to hear what he and others had to say about a product no one has any info on and there are clearly questions about.

He needed to do one of two things, pay for the advertising he was doing OR, after being warned, which he was, he could have stopped advertising. He made his choice, end of story.

Advertising dollars are the biggest reason you don't have to spend your money to be a member here. Remember, you joined for free, the info is free and the classifieds are free. We have a few very simple rules, but we do expect them to be followed. We have allot of nice guys who pay for their advertising here every month and it's not fair to them to let someone else advertise their product for free.
