should I?

I have a neighbor making bio with oil from kfc. He is using lye and alcohol. Is this a good idea in a 1st or 2nd gen truck? Does anyone know what the shelf life of this would be or anything about winterization. He running it in an asv skidsteer with no problems. But I dont want my truck to be the guinnea pig.
