My Dad taught me to drive a stick in his 1970 Chevy 3/4 ton truck. It had a 3 on the tree. My first car was a 76 Vega with a 4 speed. My Mom could drive a stick as long as it was a column shift.

It was a great event. We had about 300 trucks on Saturday and dynoed 53 trucks. Altogether 77 trucks were dynoed over the weekend.

The wedge nose on the Superbird slopes downward where the Dodge doesn't. If I remember correctly the Superbird uses Dodge Coronet fenders.

Scot, if the nose dips down and the wing is slanted back it is a Superbird. Another interesting note is the trunk lid hinges had "stops" to prevent the trunk from hitting the wing.

I was pumping gas and the station manager's friend had a Superbird. 440 6pack 4 speed. He took me for a ride. All I can say is wow. at about 120 the car literally sinks from the nose and wing.
