One thing to look at is make sure the inlet and outlet tubes are further apart than your radiator is wide. If they are to narrow to pass by the sides of the radiator it will never work.

I had the timing to the head when I jumped a tooth. It pulled hard once it spooled but fell way off in the upper rpms. I backed it off some and it runs much better now.

Mine seems to rattle more at an idle but be smoother going down the road. There seems to be less low end smoke and it spools a little better.

The pulley spins free and smooth as could be. I put a pry bar behind the pulley and put pressure on it to see if I could move the fan toward the radiator and there was no movement at all.

I appreciate it T the fan is on properly and I did some comparison measuring against a friends truck and I have the same clearance between the engine and the radiator as his truck.
