my 97 is doing the exact same things.......

my 97 is doing the exact same things.... sometimes its just the tach needle bouncing up/down a few hundred rpm's and other times as the tach needle bounces the check engine light will flash along...

I just checked and the tamper proof screw on AFC is replaced... the original owner is retired older guy and said it was all stock but had a mechanic always maintain it... he must have slid his plate...

I just bought a all stock 5 speed 97. I notice if I rev it up or while decelerating between shifting gears as it comes down in rpm's to idle it seems to "rev" up a split second... almost like I bump...
