My bet is they charged you the full retail price NAPA puts on their receipts but hardly ever charges.
Think they do this so mechanics can jack up their parts prices.

As long as the tank filter is doing it's job I don't see any need for the prefilter.
It's only function is to protect the lift pump from damaging debris.

Figure it's worth the extra price since I only change the fluid every 100k.
If you don't tow 80w90 is fine.

Seems to me that venting the blowby back into the engine would overpressurize the crankcase and cause leaks. Any place you leave open to vent the pressure would be the new oil leak source.

No doubt they're over $100 now.
I know the same servo was used on most of the Chrysler vehicles of that era.

What gorms said about not filling to the bottom of the fill plug is important.
Most will leak out the axle ends if filled all the way.

Start out by replacing the blue fusible link wire from the battery.
They can get corrosion under the insulation where you can't see it and cause low voltage to the lift coil of the solenoid.
