Try swapping the ASD relay with the A/C relay and see if it charges. If not it's probably the alternator.

One is the sensor for the grid heaters, the other is the switch for the KSB. This time of year you could leave either one hang. If you don't add another hole, put the one for the KSB in the manifold....

The clutches in your limited slip are worn out. This lets the side gears separate from the spider gears and gives you the slack. Take a look in my gallery to see what happens if you let it go too...

That is true to some extent, but synthetic base oils are much more temperature stable than conventional oils and don't require as much viscosity index improver additives.
