Rods and Pistons England vs Mexico

What is the difference between the rods that are made in england vs rods made in mexico? I been looking at a set of 6 on ebay. The rods and pistons from england are 180 while mexico rods and pistons are 80.

Also is there a difference between rods and pistons of a HO vs a SO?

HO pistons are a little bit higher compression ratio. be better with the lower compression SO pistons if you are looking to make some power with the motor

Thats a good question on the rods. Mexican blocks are supposedly a little harder and sturdier than the others metallurgically. I am not sure who or where the internals came from though.
