Re:replacing dash bulbs
The problem is that you have to release the speedo cable from the back of the dash head. There is a clip that you have to press up I believe, like away from the cable end.. I hope this make sense, but you sort of have to do it by feel as I couldn't get a good look at it in place. Once you have that unhooked you can remove the dash pods.

Also you may be able to get some more room by feeding the speedo cable from under the hood and pushing a bit.

Good Luck

J-eh.

Re:replacing dash bulbs
Garz,

I'm not sure if the dash is the same on yours but my '93 and my sons '90 have several tabs on the dash face that slide into the sub base of the dash. Once you remove the all screws you have to tug on the dash face to get to to come loose. The instrument "pod" is held on with screws and there isn't a speedo cable on ours, it's run by an electronic sensor and wire.

Hope that helps

Re:replacing dash bulbs
When you find out let me know.. I just snaked my arm up from underneath and changed the temp gauge light, fairly painless...also need to change the volmeter gauge light...need to remove the gauge cluster for that one...
