Regen Problems?

Seems there are lots of regen issues out there, and want to get an idea of how many..

well mine had a problem at 1400 miles. I use the truck to work with to. I started pulling at 900 miles. So working the truck doesnt help the system either. The dealer forced it into another Regen and cleared the code and it was fine. Today I was pulling up a hilly mountain road and that exhaust gets hot. I hate this emission thing.

So far, looks like most people arent having issues, but what is surprising is that most people don't have that many miles on them yet...

I have finally hit 2200 miles and I think my truck did its first regen today. I do not know for sure but my fuel mileage went from 14.5 to 10.2 for about 10 minutes.

The new update that I had flashed last week ( the diesel mechanic said the regen would start when the CAT / DPF was at 50 percent.)

Like I said I do not know for sure if that is what it was but my driving habit at the time did not change.

Just thought I would throw that out there....

Does anyone know if the rams overseas has the emission crap? Also can you take anything off besides the muffler on the 6.7 and not mess anything up? OFF ROAD I mean.

My DPF was clogged at 500 miles. If the dealer would have done the latest update before they gave me my truck keys they would have saved themselfs $2500...

Anyways, no problems since I've got the update.

I got 7500 on mine and have yet to see it in regen. The re-flash was done over 2 weeks ago and the EGR was removed and cleaned, it had a lot of soot in it. Haven't experienced any other problems whatsoever.

The EGR was pulled and cleaned(not the DPF)?? Hmmm, Interesting.
