I recommend you inspect the injector wiring harness for chaffing and loose connections.

Always best to rule out the simple items first.

Since you found no indications of visible damage to the injector harness and plugs externally, then pull the rocker cover and check for anywhere it could be rubbing on metal.
If the wiring is not compromised, I suspect there could be an issue with the number 2 injector, ie;solenoid.

You could also pull the injector plugs, clean and apply a small ammout of dielectric (sp?) grease.

Disconnect the pigtail nuts from the suspect #2 injector. Using an Ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the solenoid posts of the injector.
NOTE: Be sure to zero the ohm meter prior to checking the injector circuit. The resistance should be less than 1 ohm and greater than 0 ohms if not replace injector.
If the injector resistance is good then replace the valve cover gasket.

Update

Ok weekend was busier than I planned so I didn't get to do what every one had suggested yet. Truck acted up late sunday afternoon, started running rough, stopped and checked all the connections. started back up and ran fine. got codes P0202 and now a P2146-Bank 1 Shorted-High or Low Cylinder 1-3. So I guess I need to do what was suggested earlier to find the problem. Question is will it hurt anything if I keep running it until I can get time later in the week to check it out or should I try and get it done ASAP?? Don't want to damage anything but work has me running my rearend off this week.
