Quad vs Smarty
What is the best a Quadzilla ADR or Smarty for a daily driver and hauling don't want to make a lot of power. This is a work truck just want to make a little more power. I need some input. Thanks

If you don't already have gauges- I say the Quad.

post up what you have on your truck. any mods etc. guages and fuel system need to be dealt with. both products like most boxes or the smarty are great if you have other things to support them. the smarty has great low end power great for towing. but like anything that hits hard on the low end your dealing with smoke. and tranny/clutch depends what you have for aftermarket. on a bone stock truck auto or stick you will have your limits with both products. it really depends on what you want to do with the truck now and still a year from now. if the power bug bites you. tell us what you got and there is alot of good advice out here what ever way you go. but there are some areas that should be addressed with the truck prior to adding power. fuel pressure egt's boost etc. get back to us. good luck

You're gonna want to upgrade the lift pump and install a fuel pressure gauge if you do any performance upgrades. Personally, I really like the Quad box for my daily driving and towing.

IMHO You don't need a different turbo for what you want to do. You won't find a turbo that will spool as fast as that HY. You will want gauges, fuel pressure minimum. Factory lift pump will support either a smarty or adrenaline. If after you make the fuel upgrade and you see fuel pressure dropping below 5 psi then think about upgrading. If you are looking for more bang for your buck then maybe an Adrenaline would be good. Either of them are fantastic. I have had both and loved both. Stock trans. probably won't hold up to adrenaline on level 10.

Chances are you now have the "Intank lift pump" I would get a fuel pressure gauge on that truck ASAP. I could pull down to 0-1 PSI with a STOCK truck.
