PSD tried to race fiance today - Dodge Diesel

My fiance told me a story tonight:

"Some guy in a Ford was next to me a a stoplight on McCarren tonight. What is it they call it, an F350 or something, is that right? I think he was trying to race me. He kept reving his engine and bouncing forward. I could tell it was a diesel. But it sounded like crap. Almost like it was going to stall. Is that normal? I'm like 'I can't race you dude. I have my son in the back seat and the dog in the bed and this is my boyfriends truck. He would be ****** if I broke it.' He took off and I drove normal. Your truck is hard to drive..................................."

I told her that "my truck couldn't win a race until I get my fuel plate and new turbo. So it's a good thing you didn't race. That would be a liitle embarrassing. I should get online and order the stuff, huh?"

Answer: "No, your truck is fine. It runs good. You want to race it don't you? Can't you just be happy with your truck the way it is?"

I didn't answer that question. Of course I'm happy with my truck the way it is. But, I have to leave the window of opportunity open for BOMBS.

I thought this was a funny story. Thought I should let you all know.

after laying down 376-902 I STILL WANT MORE!!! But hey, at least u shared, and ur givin her the benefit of a doubt when it comes to more bombs.... sweet... seems to me u got the right idea..

yeah, once that bug has bitten the only limit you see is the moths in the wallet. The wife unit can also deter a perfectly orchestrated bombing run, in a hurry. Golly I hate the couch!! My saving grace was my wife's addiction to vintage VW performance. I bought her a porsche 914 project and gave her free reign with the mods.....that bought me some credit and I definitely didn't have to sleep on the couch

Now if I could just figure out how to get a federal grant for diesel emmisions testing or something....hehehehe.
