Bully Dog VS Edge
 

Was on the phone with a rep from Bully Dog today trying to learn about their "Torque Dog" product.I learned that they make their performance gains by timing changes only,no fuel pressure changes.Now i have to wonder if that might be more desirable considering the Edge increses timing AND fuel pressure.I wonder if one or the other is more likely to raise E.G.T.'s.Any opinions or real life Bully Dog owners out there?The Bully is more money.about $700.00 for the premium in cab adjustable model,while the Edge is $425.00 give or take.Looking for all input.Thanks.

If you are refering to an EZ for your 03, it does not change timeing.

And it fools the ECM on the amount of boost your making.

The edge will increase the pressure and pulse width from what I understand. The Bully dog will change the timing as well as the pressure/pulse width.

I saw the Bullydog race box on the dyno, pretty impressive.

Currently the in-cab Bully unit is timing AND fuel pressure while the Edge EZ is only pressure.

When the true timing/pulse boxes come out, they will likely be in concert with a slight reduction in pressure that will result from the expanded pulse width.
