do you need a new one???have you read about the possible short located behind the AC comp and near the cam sensor plug??if ur getting a CEL for the cam sensor, this could be the problem...

I'd take a look at the cam sensor plug first as redeyedracer has suggested first. Then I'd weigh getting an aftermarket sensor over a stock one, could save you a few bucks AND then you'd have adjustable timing.

yeah i looked at the harness. seems that it has already been covered with tape and i added split loom wiring cover to it...
whats the advantage to adjustable timing CD? doesnt my quad box do that? or am i missing something? |
Hey j.
Yes, the quad box does do timing. I was thinking from a stock point of view OR if a box had a little too much timing you could smooth it out, or if you stacked boxes, again smooth the timing out. Plus, the aftermarket stuff is less expensive than the dealership stuff, and many times actually better. CD |
good point... i'll check some aftermarket sources. anyone know what years are the same as mine?? like 03-06 all the same or are they specific?
