Thanks a lot!!! That's my next tire when the oems wear out. How's the noise level compared to stock? I'm going with all black procomp wheels that are 9" wide and have less backspacing so I expect them to stick out a little more than yours. Good lookin truck Man.

Anytime! Not much sound for them at all. I will say they are soft.

Thanks
Mike

They wear down too fast and have alot of sidewall flex. I had them for 10k miles and regret it the fullest. I bought the 305/65/17 BF goodrich and man they are a great tire seriously. I have had them on for 10-15k miles and they are 3/4 tread or better and have no sidewall flex and are an E rated tire at that. Trust me when you get new tires don't get D rated tires they suck. Most of the guys on here say they love em because they are just coming from 1/2 ton trucks and don't know a difference. With 4 diesels now I am not bsing you. Take the plunge and spend a little extra. Aaron

fitzydog is right! I'm going with BF goodrich next.

Maybe you tow a lot. I've got 15k on mine and they still look virtually brand new...but, I rarely tow. Maybe that's the difference. Either way, I like 'em. They're surprisingly quiet. Pics in gallery.[guitar] [guitar]

I've got about 8k on my Terra Grapplers and they still look brand new, no issues at all with them wearing fast or in a weird way. They see basically 95% highway miles as well...

You must rotate every 5k to maximize your tire's life....especially on a tire like this! I got almost 30k out of a set of tires very similiar to the Terra Grapplers but I rotated every 5k and didnt tow just a whole lot though.

My tires are D rated and I've had them on for 20k and they are just fine.

The 305 terra graplers are E-rated, no rubbing with stock rims

Can you post pics of the 305/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers? No rubbing on the control arms?

ataboy9026 Mar 23, 2007 02:20 PM

I now have over 35k miles on my 295's and they are still above half tread. And about 12000 of those miles were pulling 32' RV. I keep 64 lbs all the way around and bump up the rear to 70 when pulling. I don't understand the guys that have had bad luck with the Terra Grapplers cause everyone I know loves them and will never go back to BFG's.

Not the Nitto's but there's pics of the 305/65-17 E-rated Procomp Xtreme AT's in my gallery.. Just as tall as my 285/70-17 BFG AT's & a little wider...

I wanted to buy the Nitto's or the Toyo 295/70-17, but they are not available in Canada[verymad] so I found some Procomps on sale cheap, happy so far...
