Polished stainless nerf bars ????

I have an '06 Mega single wheel 3500. I'm the 3rd owner of this clean truck originally purchased in Idaho. It came to me with a nice set of polished stainless nerf bars. On the rubber step pad is a "R". That's the only thing I can find on them. I'm assuming ( I know, I know ) that they were dealer installed upon delivery but, of course, I don't know. I need to replace the bars and I do like these and If I can identify the mfg. I will.

If I cannot, I would like recommendations for a replacement set of high quality bars that will look good on the megacab. My truck was hit drivers side and that bar is a pretzel now, so I'm in the market for the replacements.

Thank you all in advance for your valued input. I've always found the members of this forum to be the best source of info. and do appreciate the knowlege present here.

Roger, in NJ

I bought mine out of Lancaster,Pa but can't remember the name of the Company. Might do a search on the net. They were under $150 and look good, have had them on for 2 years plus with no problem.

Does anybody have any feedback on the wheel to wheel Nasta bars? I have been eyeing a set for my 06. I am just unsure how they will look, since they are so long.

Thanks.

Putco 4" SS W/W Boss Bars. These are expensive, but next to 3" bars....

I did have to reglue the rear end cap on both sides, the front caps have a bolt through the center that mounts to the front bracket.

Thanks for the input. I checked with nasta company. They have the bars but they are pretty steep costwise. $400 for the bars plus $100 for shipping. Have to think about that one.

Appreciate the info.

The Lancaster, Pa. company is called " Intrigued". They are a bit more now but under $300 including shipping. Good luck.

I wonder if the 'R' stands for Raptor. I have Raptor SS step bars on mine for the last 6 years, and holding up great.
