Are you sure it is a decal rather than painted on graphic? Usually those decals will come off with a heat gun, but I wouldn't bet the price of the truck on it.

You wonder if the decals are why they put the more burly front bumper on. Not likely painted on, but after they are off I'm sure that there will be a fade difference that will need some attention.

I've removed decals on two of my dodges similar to that with out any problems. Used a razor to lift the edge of the decal to get it started. Then just took my time peeling it back with a heat gun. The paint looks the same where the decal was. But I figured if it was a little bit off would still look better than with the decals. imo
