ummm, not really a chip on these..
There is either a programmer, which plugs into the OBDII port at the bottom edge of the dash, or there is a box mounted under the hood or under the dash, and it would have to plug into the wiring harnesses under the hood, and mainly on the drivers side of the engine compartment. (AD removed site violation)

Hope I'm on the right track here....
A fueling box (EZ, Quad?, etc.) can go just about anywhere in a 2' radius of the induction manifold (near where its plugged in). Mine sits on the fuse box next to the driver's side battery. NOT with velcro though... You'll know it when you see it. Also, if you have gauges that's usually a sign that it's been "chipped". A lot of owners will remove the box and sell it on ebay though, especially if they are trading it in.
