P0237 Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

P0237 Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low:

So tonight my check engine light for the first time ever came on and I had a P0237 Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low since I was going too put the new lift pump in I had too take the battery cables off and I noticed that the negative cable on one side was off would that trip the check engine light. Once I put the new pump in primed the pump she fired first rip 20psi idling no stumbling and the check engine light is gone once I gave the terminal ends some TLC

Hmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!! You might want to check each battery. One may be going dead. Battery disconnect can erease codes some of the time.

Code came back on an ran like a paper weight on the way home tonight like it had no boost. Could the map sensor be going out? I had been working on the lift pump and noticed tonight that the plug into the map sensor was a little bit out and I pushed it back on and the cel like is off. If it was my injector pump would it not re prime once I open the fuel system up when I changed the lift pump? If any thing after pushing the deal back in I will run it and see how it does if not I might need a new map or boost sensor as when its off it runs like a raped ape. My fuel psi is 15psi idling and nothing below 10 on it hard and on a side note each battery is good checked with my multi meter and at the tire store.

I had the same code flash up on my truck last year. Truck ran like a lead block. After shutting it off and running a few miles it went away so I could make it home. Cleaned my map sensor and never had the problem since. But as soon as I got home I called cummins and ordered up a new sensor. I didn't put it on till this past feb. So for close to 10 months my truck ran fine after having that code. You could try cleaning the MAP sensor to see if that helps but I would get a new one just to be sure nothing goes wrong.
