Oil Change ... what size is the drain plug ?

I think this is called a stud .. not hex, torx or allen.

Was going to do my first oil change ... like to do them at 3k for the first 12k .. at any rate .. what size is that dang plug ? Looks like a 4 sided stud

3/8" socket wrench or pull handle is all you need. Nothing special.

a socket wont work. Its not a hex head. ....

the tip or the end of an extention (the square part) connected to a rachet might work.

I believe Spooler was saying the drive off of a 3/8" ratchet. And yes thats all you need to get it done.

Yes Thanks ..

Was taking a shower and it hit me ... getting a little old .. takes a minute some times...
Another thing I noticed is that there is a plastic like covering over the filter. Its not oil. Im going to see if I can get a good pic of it tomorrow morn. before I hit it again ...

Im also going to remove the fender well .... and use a pipe over the end of the oil filter wrench to get some leverage.

The oil filter may have plastic on it from when it was bought at the store, some are wrapped in plastic. Easy way to get the filter of it use a chisel and hammer and pound around the top lip and move it around.

get a filter wrench from geno's..best 6$ you will ever spend..no need to remove fender well. need a 3/8" ratchet and a good 12" or so worth of extensions.

Are you talking about your fuel filter? It has a plastic housing.

The first change is the worst. I put dents in the filter with a strap wrench trying to get it loose. They must have put it on dry. My second change was much better.

I think that plastic you see may be the varnish they spray the engine with after assembly. It looks like plastic. I liked it better when it was just black paint like on my 97..
