Re:How often do you change your air filter?

Before I switched to K&N, I used to change with every oil change. This of course is overkill. But, air filters are real cheap so I always figured why not. I switched to a K&N and hope to just be able to cleaan it and re-oil per the directions.

Gary

The drum filters in our 1st gens aren't that cheap..
I use K&N and do mostly highway driving so I service it every Summer. I did the same with my paper filter when I had em, every year which was about 40,000 KM (25,000 mi)

J-eh

Re:How often do you change your air filter?

I've got two K&Ns and switch them out at everyother oil change - about every 12,000 miles. I went that route when I cleaned mine the first time. I used the paper filter so that the K&N could dry properly. When I drove my truck I could feel the difference so I bought another K&N. ;D
Bob
