Official Roll Call For DTR Meeting in Memphis,TN-2/4/06 - Dodge Diesel

Hello everyone, I thought that I should get a new thread started for all those who plan to attend. Please post if you know of friends or anyone else who might be coming with you, just so I can get an accurate number. Again, the meeting will be Feb.4@1:00PM and 4Wheel Parts off Brooks road will be hosting. Free food and drinks will be provided courtesy of the staff. I told the manager that we should have at least 10 trucks show up, so I hope I'm not wrong.

Hey Dmax,I sent you a PM. I went by Mid South Diesel, I talked to Sam and Steven those guys said they are comming. It's funny, I think I taught them about the problems of the LP/CP3 problems and the solutions we've came up with today. Great bunch of guys. I look forward to having an event hosted by them.

Hey guys - I just saw this thread. I didn't know there were any DTR chapters in TN. I'm in Hohenwald (Middle TN) and Memphis all the time. Usually in Memphis around 8 months of the year. I do all of my posting on the TDR, but read a lot on here. I might drive over to 4 Wheel Parts if you guys don't mind a newbie showing up. It's over there next to Harbor Freight right?

Hey by the way, we (the Mid-TN TDR chapter) are having a huge meeting in Dickson, TN this coming Saturday, the 28th. Anybody wishing to attend is welcome. There's going to be several big giveways (gauges, clutch, tires).

So is there going to be a portable dyno at this meeting? I don't know that I'm ready to dyno yet, but I would be curious in what they would be charging. Any ideas?

I never heard back from Hypertech after a dozen calls, so I gave up. I will lead a group of trucks over to Dynospeed if they are wanting to do that.

Gentlemen,

I replied to the other post about the meeting. I plan to attend.
Since this post is dealing with "roll call" too, I will reply here also.

Unless something weird comes up, I will be there with either the diesel car or the diesel truck (both Daimler products).

I've been wanting to check out the 4 Wheel Parts store. Just haven't had the time.....

I know there are more, but a lot of them are only on the TDR site and since I don't have a membership yet, I can't post there. I will be sending out pm's to all those in the threads, to remind them. Elliot says that he can't do a raffle, but will give employee pricing to anyone who officialy becomes a member. I'll go through this more at the meeting, but I will also be starting a "DTR Chapter #30 roundtable discussion" thread for all the members who sign up, and call it our unofficial member thread for the chapter. I just figure it's easier than having our own linked page, and would allow easier communication on events and stories among chapter members.

We may have met and did't know it. I was the only one there with a 3rd gen 2wd srw reg cab. It was the silver one parked in front next to the street. I'll teel ya they sure had their stuff together did't they. Do you think you can go to their roundtable discussion and mention the club we're trying to put together. I know most of them are from the eastern side of the state, but I'm sure that some might want to come over to this side for a meet. Who knows, we might become as infamous on this forum as they are over at the TDR.

I'll post it on our "Mid-Tenn Rountable" thread. Most of the guys are from Murfreesboro, Lebanon, and a few on the outskirts of Nashville. There are 2 TDR members from Memphis that regularly post on our rountable thread.

On the Dickson meeting, that was definitely our best meeting as far as turnout goes. Most of the time we'll meet at someone's shop and wrench on trucks all day (and all night).

Sorry I couldn't make the meet - I'll let you know if something changes.

I hope this one is as good as the last one. 2006 QC, LWB, Auto. Totally stock. Its no longer common, now its just sense.
