Hey guys and gals! I ran across this forum while surfing the net today, and decided I would join. My name is Jason, and I am the BusinessLink Account Manager for Bluebonnet Chrysler-Dodge in New Braunfels, TX. I will be checking in periodically to see how things are going, but if any of y'all have any questions about the new Heavy Duties, or about the commercial incentives DC offers, I will do my best to answer any questions. Bluebonnet Chrysler-Dodge is the fastest growing Dodge dealership in TX, and with the installation of the BusinessLink program last month, we are gearing up to double our sales in two months time! Keep the questions/input coming, y'all are great.

Re:New to Site

Jason, welcome to the site. You will find here a great bunch of guys and gals here. We all learn alot while sifting through the sometimes correct, and sometimes not so correct details of the various questions and answers. Great fun.

Question:

If one cancels an order and reorders a different truck, does the dealer have to take the old order even if it has not be manufactured yet? Secondly if it hasn't been manufactured, or shipped, is he subject to any costs for the previous order, other than the time he spent to place the original order?

Mr. Billy :

Hope this helps!

Mr. Billy,
While I am not the one ordering the vehicles, it has been my experience that orders that are cancelled are just that, cancelled. If the vehicle has not been manufactured it is dead. There are no costs associated with ordering a unit, other than when the unit is manufactured and shipped. Many times dealers will trade for order slots, so those cancelled bump other dealers in line waiting for manufactuing dates. Best advice, know what you are ordering before you have a dealer put it in the system, it makes it a lot easier on all involved.
Thanks for the welcome Mr. Billy, this website is great. If there are any other questions y'all have, just ask. If I don't have the info, I know a couple people who can find out! Thanks,
Jason
