Smile New ride!!

Okay guys, here is my new ride. I purchased it today at M&L Motors in Lexington, North Carolina and floated home. It is a 2008 Dodge Ram Laramie 5500 with the hauler bed on it. It had 2000 miles on it. It has almost everything but the kitchen sink on it.

I'm excited. Now I need to see about some customizing. I'm sure my bud, Boaterman, will be helping me spend my money! ha

Many thanks to Boostjunkie for putting me onto this truck! It is definitely a keeper!!

Jason is his first name. His shop is in Lexington and he makes the Hitch Crafter air ride hitch. It a sweet hitch. Jason is making a special one for me that will fit inside the trough of my bed.

Yep! I've wanted a Dodge Cummins for a long time. I only bought the Ford 3 years ago because I discovered that the Dodge 3500 dually could not legally pull my trailer. The tow rating on it was 13,000 or so. So I was disappointed and instead bought the Ford. But I've been lusting after Dodges in secret ever since. AND now I have one.

You are so right about the perma grin. It is definitely there.

Another thing I discovered when I got to the dealership is that this truck is a 188.5 instead of the 160 so it is just a bit longer. My bed is 11.4 feet. I think the extra length makes just a bit smoother ride.

Yep, the wife is already not happy about more goodies, but she does understand that this is a truck we can keep for years so that makes it better.

.... No not yet! I will have to go by tomorrow and collect that huge $50 check..... I have sold 30+ Trucks for those guys in the last 4 years at $50 a Truck/Car ...... Just met a Dodge Dealership owner that stated he would pay me $450 a Truck and $200 a Car....... BUT, M&L Motors will sell for less and that is what I like about sending people there. If you do the work and talk them down you can always get a good deal. Glad Joe got the Truck..Not for the $50 in my pocket, but because I know he will Love it!!!
