I have about 40k on my M/Ts and they will probably last me through the winter at least.

They didn't go up THAT much. I goofed up and was looking at some 18'' wheel tires on the link. They are about $270 now, full retail. I am sure you could talk them down some though.

Sorry no pics yet the truck is covered with salt. So far the tires are excellent, quieter than i thought they'd be and traction on snow and ice has been great. They look great on a stock height truck as well.

ok Everyone....

It's over a year later. How are the tires doing? Would you recommend them?

I'm looking at the 305/65/17 or the 285/70/17's

Thanks

Matt

The weight capacity is a little low on them. Mine are "D" rated and 3000lbs capacity.

That said.........They have been great!!! I have over 30K miles on them and they probably have 20-30K left in them. Great traction in all kinds of conditions. Look good. I rotate about every 5K-7K.....Free at Discount tire.

Go for em.. I've had em on my truck for about 3yrs and they still have decent tread left.. And I do pull trailers and trail ride with the truck also and they do just fine.. I had an old 83 chevy suburban and had em on that thing also, and with everyday driving those tires still lasted for 2 yrs.. Very good tire in my opinion

Mine are do doing great as well. Its my daily driver. I also have pulled some trailers. tow hitch style nothing real heavy about 7000pounds. I also have run distances with about 2000 pounds in the bed. With the proper air in the tires they run well and do not heat up. With the 7000 pound trailer I did about a constant 90mph for around 300miles. With the 2k in the bed I ran about 85 for 225miles. I run a 37x12.50x17. The load range is D and rated for 3525pounds. That is way over what the stock wheels and my H2 wheels are rated for. I find them very quiet for a MT. they run well in dry, wet, off road, and in snow. Light snow can be a little slick but if you use your head its not a problem.
