ducktape works
, but in all honesty id check out a junkyard. I replaced the seats in old dakota with leather for $200 at my junkyard. Deercreek salvage yard..williamsport ohio. Maybe you will be lucky and find one and swap em out if you know the fella. I couldnt pull that off but ive heard of it happening before.

I'd take it to an upholstery shop. They can fix it and you'll never know it was ripped.
If the estimate is too high, a boneyard may have a mashed truck with minimal blood on the seats, or get a new seat cover.

You sometimes see them on e-bay from folks who upgraded to swivel captain's chairs.

Well, I decided to go the upolsery shop route. I have to wait a few weeks to get on their schedule but they said they would need it for a day and they would pull the seat, pull the cover, adjust or replce the foam if needed, sew in new matching panels that are ripped, pull the stretched part tight again and reinstall. They assured me I would be very satisfied... $150.00 Seems more than reasonable to fully repair it. I'll let you know how it works. Maybe I can figure out how to post some pics. Thanks for advice.

I was going to say the seat shop route. Even if you see the threads, them re-foaming it is well worth it.
