My new 6.7 Cummins w/ Allison
I was invited to join this site by Randy. Here is a pic of my 6.7 Cummins truck with an Allison tranny.
Bull strong truck. No problems. Current fleet consists of Duramax Chevrolet's. Signed a deal to buy a 2011 Dodge 5500 4x4. If all goes well total fleet replacement with Dodge's. Enjoy the pic. |

Welcome to the site. Lots of info here.
If you do redo your fleet with 6.7's and I assume Aisin Tranny's, it will be interesting to here how the Allison and Aisin compare. Dave

The Aisin should be good, same company that makes the tranny for the Isuzu cab overs. Those go forever and a day before failure.
The Allisons are pretty good. I can get 2 snow removal seasons out of them before a rebuild. Can't wait for the new body style to hit showrooms. |
