thanks first dodge! never seen that type before. btw, what are those round pieces on either side?

Those are the water tight flaps that cover the locks. You pull them up and unlock the cover. After it is unlocked, you twist it and then you can open it from either the front or the back. You can unlock it and fold it back to the rear window in about 10 seconds. You can take it completely off if you loosen 4 bolts. I really like it so far.
