lpp lift pump

Looks like i am in need of a new lift pump, only got 50,000 from my oem diaphram pump so am looking at going to a llpp. Went to the sticky, looks simple enough but... The last list of part #s from cummins is dated 2009, any chance thoose # s still work.

I'm not sure what the instructions from the sticky were but I installed the one from The Hungry Diesel and it was simple. Just need to carve out some of the insulation for it to fit properly.

If your not planning on upping to really big injectors in the future, the Delphi pump is half the price and works just fine. It fueled my 7X.010 injectors steady to 3200rpm without falling off.

Longevity of that pump? Not real happy about a toast lp after 50,000 miles. That is only about 18 mo. For me.

Use to be a day you could rely on name brand quality. That day died a long time ago. Delphi makes a lot of replacement parts that are rebranded by the big name brand companies now days. I have not had a complaint with their products. They have lasted just as long as any other.
