Talking Links to were I can buy STACK'S!

I can't stand it, even though everyone at work is going to call me a hick (no pun intended) There are very few up here in Alaska. I happen to like the look & sound. I talked with a guy in town that has them on a 03', sounded sweet! I did a serch on the internet but the only thing that came up wasDIESEL TRUCK RESOURCE . COM! Imagine that. Were are your guy's buying them and what are you paying for them? I have a 4"DPP Turbo to tip, should I "T" off to 5" or stay 4"?
Thanks Dog

Buy your pieces from a big rig exhaust shop like iowa80.com, or berubes. com they have just about all the pieces you are going to need. You may even have a local big rig shop that has most everything in stock. The prefabed set up kits are outrageously priced. Looks like you have already done some looking.... What about 6" or 7".... I love my 6" miters! Now you are going to need some injectors and a pusher pump for the ultimate mini rig excitement!

Also check out Airflow Systems. I got my turndown tip and the parts to make my intake from them and was happy with the prices and quick shipping.

I bought 2 sets of stacks off of E-bay. One set of 4's that came with all elbows, but no splitter for about $150 (slightly used). The other was a pair of 60" by 5" bullhorns only for $125 brand new. I believe there is a set on their now.

Hope you were quick, the ones on my watch list ended before I got around to checking. I believe they went for $156.00 or so, pair of 5" x 60" turnouts...

Yeah I was wanting to bid on those but ebay was having problems, everytime I clicked on the stacks to see them it took me to a diff page and said, this page canot be viewed at the momment. ..... I found another set of 5" x 48" angles for $145.00.... Not bad, and they have all the other fittings to boot! Thanks for the heads up though!

I like the way the 5" angled cuts look. I wouldn't go any higher than the cab though. Isn't there a way to hide the piping under the bed and only have the stacks sticking through the bed? That's the way I want mine done. Might cost more and be harder to do, but I think it would look better.

www.berubes.com no contest, excellent pricing, great service, they helped me lay out a setup with a few simple measurements and they have some of the best pricing around. Located in New Hampshire though, shipping might be kinda high to Alaska, call em though, you never know.
* on running the pipes under the bed....your going to run into a problem on the drivers side with the fuel tank. I've seen it done with lots of flexpipe, but the results werent pretty. A body lift would help, but thats a little extreme just for stacks (I have both). Anyone else have an idea? I just dont like the idea of running something that hot that close to the fuel tank.

I grabbed mine from the aforementioned Air Flow systems. Shipping cross country was a pain. I paid 75 per 5"x36" turnout stack, shipped.

BigBlue,
If you have a shortbed, it won't fit between the fuel tank and bed. I'm not sure about the long beds. I have seen a 3" wrapped pipe between the gas tank and bed floor somewhere here in the pictures. Heat will be a major concern. The 5" fit perfectly between the front bed brace and the bed mounting ear on the frame. I'll be pulling mine out, patching the hole in my bed floor, cutting a new hole and mounting a new stack system in a couple of weeks.

brandon.

You might contact any semi dealerships in your area. I was able to locate a set of brand new take-off turnbacks for $20 each. The quality of the stacks has been excellent and you can't beat the price

This maybe a stupid question, are there any problems with getting your trucks inspected without muffler?

I've never had a problem getting inspected without a muffler.
