As a matter of fact I did! I don't run or own a buisness and im not trying to sell any products. I know how Forms can be with people trying to market stuff and im not that guy.
I just threw this up because I know there are a couple of folks in here that own Dodges . Im sure they have seen a few diffrent things on the front of the truck and I figured why not give them one more.

Here are a few more pic's before the powder coat, just to give a little better view of things.

I saved a spot right in the middle. If you notice the peice of bent sheet metal with the flared holes in it on the top half of the bar. They will hang from the bottom of that, This way I could keep the lights behind the bars for protection from, whatever.

I got the die's here, You simply cut a hole place the metal between the dies and place everything in a press to make the flare.

I really like that one. Very heavy duty looking. And looks good on your truck.

Thanks fellas! It's made from 1.5" X .120" wall tubing, Just in case any one wants to know or decides to take a project on form them selfs. Atleast I know I won't have a hard time getting rid of it When your the person building stuff you always second guess your idea's. Of course your mind always changes after everything is welded together

Just a tip...

You will have a rust problem on the backside or "non-welded" side of the connection between the flat plat and tube. Try trimming the plat down to fit more center to center between the tubing...so you can weld and coat better from both sides.

Looks good though...great start!

The rust problem shoulden't be too much of an issue. I had the bar sand blasted and powder coated before I mounted it to the truck. I see what your saying, thats why I went with the powder coat finish instead of a color matched paint, it gets into those tigher area's a little better.

Ummmm...trust me. Powder coat will not span an unwelded joint longer than a year or so before it will rust and bubble off. Just find a way to weld 100% both side if you want longevity or do it the Edit easier way and seal it after powdercoating with a thin bead of silicon caulk. It will rust if not.

Look at all other "mass produced" bumpers, pushers, and light bars. The first place they go..is where manufacturers tried to cut corners...weld less...and make more money.
