Let's get a big first gen crowd to Englishtown!

I know this will prolly get moved, but I wasn't sure how to better reach the first genners. I would like to see a few more down at Raceway Park, Englishtown NJ on Sat. Sept 13. US Diesel Truckin Nats. I know Crossy usually makes it. Who else?? If we have to post up in NJDTR #37, they are a welcoming crowd. PM me if you'd like also.

PA,NY, Conn, MD lets get something going.

89/91 project 2013: stripped to frame, getrag rebuild, replacement cab. From the ground up, a 'driver' restoration for reliability and simplicity. A work in progress for 2013. The desired end product will be a rust free 4wd/getrag/1 ton with a reg cab and either a longbed or flatbed. SRW, rebuilt to mostly stock specs.

YES!!!!! its cool. dumptrucks, bigrigs, trashtrucks, street sweepers, ups vans, work trucks, bucketrucks, you name it.....it it has a diesel it is allowed to be racing. the pickup truck class is nothing compared to the big rigs and dumptrucks and stuff. and it gets old watching there 22 second passes. but the show is amazing. some of the never used prestine big rigs you see. Also, last year they had the wheely school bus and some guy in a chevy suburban jumped like 10 cars or something. It is so much fun. And the sponsors set up on the pit side are cool too. It is the awesomeest diesel event on the east coast, i think . Brandon

So far I'll bring both of mine.

tally so far is 4 trucks definite

two maybe's

and a couple riders.

Spread the word, there were a few running last year. I would like to make a bigger presence.

Anyone know how we can get together on the pit side and hang out. There will be a nice crew from NJDTR there I'm sure.

If the old 91 isnt sold by then we will be running it. probably throw some 33's on the back to get some more top speed and some tires we dont care about that we can burn off to get traction . I think its a 14 second truck buy it gets no traction off the line.

I am of the understanding that the US Diesel Nats is now a big rig event. There was not enough time to do both, considering the pickups have flooded the event. The pickup event will be August 3rd. Stay tuned as I try to contact Raceway Park to clarify this.

Dragging this back up. Any more interested? It allegedly will not be as good as previous years if you are running your truck, but still a great time! Less than 2 weeks away.
