Leaking Lift Pump

I was just wondering....does the lift pump start leaking before it is about to go out (as in a water pump)? I just noticed that mine has started leaking and was wondering if it might be fixing to go. I just had a new injector pump installed and it has started leaking since then. I really started noticing it after I installed new fuel filter and manually pumped fuel to fill it (about 30?? pumps).

Thanks for any info....

Re:Leaking Lift Pump

I found the answer to my problem....it does have a weep hole and will leak fuel if the diaphragm is leaking (Please tell me if this is wrong.) Gotta go get one. Thanks.
