Exclamation key swich

shuttruck off the tummbler came out with the key. i tried to put backin but it jumbs back out

I think there's a clip or pin that holds it in. Yours must be broken.

you might try inserting it like this

(from repair manual)
1. make sure truck is in park (if auto)
2. with key cylinder and ignition in lock position, insert cylinder into ignition switch assembly until it bottoms.
3. Insert key, push inward on key cylinder, then rotate key clockwise to end of travel.
4. check each position

This assumes that your lock is not wore out. There is a pin that normally has to be depressed in order for the lock to be removed. If that or other part have worn then a replacement is in order.

that will work dave. being left handed it out of comishion the rgiht just ant the same. one thing for sure is i have MORE RESPEATE FOR A GERINDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
