Hey all, naturally im new here. My dilema is i actually dont own a diesel yet, im in the process of selling my '99 Ram 2500 gas, to buy a '00-'02 cummins. I wont be buying one soon though, im in the active duty marine corps , just got stationed in Okinawa, Japan for the next 2 years. Its a big bummer, but im savin up $$$ for that cummins. Its been like a dream of mine to own one, 3 of my close friends have nice cummins all worked up and i love them. I love the 2nd gen body style, hate the new style. I hate all new trucks, im an old school kinda guy. Being 18 thats unusual for my generation, all my friends like the new ****, all those hybrid cars and ricer things...im into offroading and big diesels. I hope to gain alot of knowledge on here in order for me to build my dream cummins once my overseas tour is finished. Im lookin to buy a '02 preferably, QC long bed, put some nice 6" dual turnout stacks with a straight pipe for that loud sound, i love it. Well hope to see you all around

BTW - if you really want to be old school, you need a 1st gen.
